The art of sword care has been perfected in Japan over centuries to keep the legendary samurai swords in top condition. Based on this traditional knowledge, combined with modern elements, Toshiro Swords has developed the Samurai 2K sword care set. Thanks to high-quality materials and a proven formula, this set is not only suitable for swords, but also ideal for knife care.
The set contains all the essential components for thorough cleaning and preservation of your blade:
Special cloths for removing oil residue: four cloths made from natural cellulose replace the classic nuguigami paper and offer even more effective cleaning performance.
Uchiko with blade powder: Traditionally obtained from limestone, the mixture has been refined with gentler components to protect the blade. It reliably removes old oil residue, dirt and incipient rust.
Cotton cloth for applying maintenance oil: The reusable cloth made from certified organic cotton comes in a matching storage box.
High-quality care oil: The blend of camellia oil and clove oil (Tsubaki & Choji Abura) has been supplemented with modern, pollutant-free ingredients. It effectively protects the blade without attacking copper or brass elements. It is also less resistant than penetrating oils so that excess oil does not remain permanently in the sheath.
The set also includes detailed operating instructions in German and English with valuable safety instructions and care tips for proper use.

Schärfer als ich es mir gedacht habe
Ich habe mir das Schwert bestellt, da ich nur eins für an die Wand haben wollte. Und für den Preis wäre es gerechtfertig. Ich habe mir versehentlich den Finger aufgeschnitten und jetzt hängt es lieber an der Wand. Soll man nicht meinen, daß bei diesem Preis man solch eine Schärfe erwarten kann.

This Cold Steel® model combines traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technology. The hand-forged 1060 carbon steel blade is exceptionally sharp - so sharp that it can cut through a phone book with a single stroke. The generously dimensioned handle allows both one-handed and two-handed handling. The crossguard and the massive pommel are made of blued steel, while the wooden handle scales are securely riveted to the tang, which extends all the way to the pommel.
