Product information "Marauder, Bowie knife, stonewash finish"

Cold Steel® Marauder® Bowie - Subhilt knife with stonewash finish

The Marauder® Bowie knife from Cold Steel® stands for uncompromising performance, impressive robustness and tactical design. Named after the legendary Merrill's Marauders - a special unit of the US Army in the Second World War - this knife combines military tradition with modern technology.

The extra-wide, razor-sharp blade made from Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel is double-hardened and has a sophisticated stonewash finish that is not only hard-wearing but also particularly easy to clean. The deep bevels and the distinctive clip-point tip make this Bowie knife ideal for cutting, stabbing and chopping work - in the field, when hunting or during survival.

The ergonomically designed sub-hilt handle made from Kray-Ex™ offers maximum control, even in adverse conditions. The one-piece injection-moulded material makes the handle particularly durable, moisture-resistant and ensures optimum grip in any situation.

This 2021 model with a smooth cutting edge is the improved version of its predecessor with a polished blade - now with a more robust surface and optimised handling. The scope of delivery includes a practical Secure-Ex® sheath, with which the knife can be securely and flexibly attached to a belt or equipment.

Italian long sword with scabbard

Italian longsword with scabbard - Sharp blade for precise blows The longsword was one of the most important weapons in medieval Europe for several centuries. From around 1350 to 1650, it proved its worth both on the battlefield and in the art of fencing. Its long, double-edged blade not only offered an impressive reach, but also the necessary leverage for powerful blows and precise thrusts. The characteristic cross shape of the hilt with its long crossguard and heavy pommel not only served to protect the hand, but could also be used strategically to disarm opponents or throw them off balance. A special technique was used against heavily armoured opponents in particular: the half-sword. This involved gripping the blade with one hand in order to guide the tip through weak points in the armour. This versatility made the longsword an indispensable weapon in the martial arts of its time. This Italian longsword is modelled on historical examples and impresses with its elegant and functional design. The sharp blade is primarily optimised for thrusts, but the cutting edges are also extremely effective. The handle is made of wood and wrapped in leather, while the crossguard is slightly curved downwards to provide additional protection. The fishtail pommel ensures optimum balance and enables precise manoeuvres. The sword is supplied with a high-quality, leather-covered wooden scabbard reinforced with steel fittings. Features: Blade material: 1060 carbon steel Total length: approx. 119.4 cm Handle length: approx. 29.2 cm Blade length: approx. 90.2 cm Weight: approx. 1273 g Includes leather-covered wooden sheath with steel fittings Note: This item is only for sale to persons of legal age. Large Bidenhänder, Gassenhauer
Large Bidenhänder, Gassenhauer

Large Bidenhänder - Mighty two-handed sword This impressive two-handed sword is one of the largest of its kind and impresses with its enormous reach and cutting power. Despite its imposing size, it is excellently balanced and offers experienced fighters astonishing agility. With a blade length of over a metre and a weight of around 3 kg, this Bidenhänder is a weapon that can have a devastating effect in close combat. Historically, it was used by Landsknechts to hold their own against pikes or other swordsmen - and even against bayonets and rifle butts. It was not for nothing that this weapon was nicknamed the "Gassenhauer", as it could cut a swathe through enemy formations in battle. To protect the hands, the sword has an impressive crossguard with parrying rings. Parrying hooks further forwards not only provide additional safety, but also allow the blade to be shortened for close combat attacks. Viking sword

Historical Viking sword of the 9th and 10th centuries The Viking sword of the 9th and 10th centuries was characterised by a long, broad blade with a central fuller and two edges. As it was primarily designed for hacking and slashing in the fighting techniques of the time, the blade had a rather rounded tip that was nevertheless suitable for stabbing. A simple, forward-curved crossguard was often combined with a handy handle made of leather-covered wood. In some cases, materials such as bone or brass were also used. A solid pommel with five ridges was used to balance the long blade. This replica has a hand-forged, double-edged blade made of carbon steel, which has been polished by hand and sharpened to perfection. The handle is made of wood with leather wrapping and is framed by a simple but elegant crossguard and a pommel with five ridges. Both are decorated with traditional knot patterns. The knife comes with a leather-covered wooden scabbard with a polished steel chape. Details: Blade material: 1060 carbon steel Overall length: approx. 93.6 cm Blade length: approx. 76.8 cm Blade thickness: approx. 5.9 mm Handle: approx. 16.8 cm long, wood with leather wrapping Weight: approx. 1052 g Includes: leather and wooden sheath with steel fittings Note: The product has an extremely sharp blade. Improper or careless handling can lead to serious injuries.

Italian long sword with scabbard - Man-at-Arms series
Italian long sword with scabbard - Man-at-Arms series

Italian longsword - Man at Arms with leather sheath The Italian longsword from the Man at Arms (MAA) series by Cold Steel® is an impressive reconstruction of a classic medieval sword that is equally suitable for combat and historical collection. It carries on the tradition of the valiant "Man-at-Arms" - warriors who proved themselves in countless battles, but without the status of knights. These soldiers were known for their unwavering loyalty and courage, and Cold Steel® honours these warriors with this sword collection that is both high quality and affordable. Compared to Cold Steel®'s premium versions, the MAA longsword features a blued blade and black handles for a functional yet aesthetically pleasing look. Although the MAA blades have no silver-polished steel parts, they fulfil the highest standards of performance and quality. These blades are fully sharpened and battle-ready, with a robust yet elegant design that reflects the sharpness and functionality of a true longsword. The longsword from the MAA series has a long tradition and was the favoured sword in medieval Europe for almost 300 years (approx. 1350 to 1650). The double-edged blade is ideal for use against both light and heavy armour. Particularly noteworthy is the reach of the blade, which enables powerful thrusts and cuts, while the long crossguard and heavy pommel act as striking weapons and can throw the opponent off balance. The half-sword technique, in which the swordsman grasps the blade with one hand, makes it possible to stab precisely into gaps in the armour. The MAA Italian longsword was modelled on classic Italian designs, with the emphasis on thrusting attacks. Nevertheless, the cutting edges are surprisingly effective and make the sword a versatile weapon for swordplay. The simple yet functional crossguard and the balanced fishtail pommel round off the design perfectly. Included is a high-quality leather sheath with blued steel fittings, which keeps the sword safe and stylish at the same time. Details: Blade material: 1090 carbon steel, blued Total length: approx. 119.4 cm Handle length: approx. 29.2 cm Blade length: approx. 90.2 cm Blade thickness: approx. 6.35 mm Weight: approx. 1389 g Incl. leather sheath with blued steel fittings Cold Steel® item number: 88ITSM This sword is ideal for historical fencing techniques and as a collector's sword. We also require a copy of your identity card, driving licence or other suitable document by e-mail, scan, fax or post. Safety note: The sword is extremely sharp and may have sharp cutting edges. The legendary ninja sword - a legacy of the shadow warriors The legendary ninja sword, also known as the ninjatō, is considered one of the most mysterious weapons of Japanese warriors. The ninja, masters of stealth and espionage, used weapons that could give them an advantage in dangerous missions. Samurai vs. ninja - was there really a conflict? There are many stories about the rivalry between samurai and ninja. According to legend, the ninja were masters of assassination and were considered enemies of the samurai. In reality, however, the two warrior classes were fundamentally different and rarely engaged in direct conflict. Some famous samurai, such as Hattori Hanzō, are even said to have combined both roles - samurai and ninja. Were there special ninja swords? Historical research shows that the ninja probably did not have specially developed ninja swords. Instead, they often used shorter, slightly modified samurai swords that were better suited to confined spaces. A special ninjatō, as it is known today, is more of a modern interpretation than an exact historical replica. What can buyers who want to buy a ninja sword today expect? Anyone looking to buy a ninja sword today will usually find a variant with a straight, single-edged blade. This design has become an iconic representation of the ninjatō, although it is not one hundred per cent historically proven. How much does a real ninja sword cost? The price of a ninja sword varies greatly depending on the quality and material. Entry-level models are available for little money, while hand-forged swords made of high-quality steel can cost several thousand euros. Here in our shop you can buy a ninja sword made from one continuous piece of steel(full tang) and equipped with a sharp 1045 carbon steel blade. This model offers excellent value for money and is ideal for beginners and collectors.
