Product information "Warrior Katana"

Warrior Katana - High-quality fighting sword made of 1060 carbon steel

The Warrior series from Cold Steel® offers a premium alternative to the high-quality swords of the Emperor series. Designed for martial arts enthusiasts and collectors, this katana combines rugged quality with an affordable price.

Why the Warrior Katana?

Cold Steel® launched the Emperor series a few years ago, which quickly became very popular. However, the Warrior series was created to offer discerning sword enthusiasts a more affordable, but still combat-ready model. These swords are made of high-quality 1060 carbon steel, are just as sharp and sturdy as the Emperor models, but do not have an elaborate mirror polish. This achieves an optimum balance between quality and price.

The Warrior Katana is perfect for Tameshigiri (cutting tests) and intensive training without damaging the blade. The functional finish maintains functionality while reducing production costs.

Dragonfly Katana (Cold Steel)

Dragonfly Katana - Powerful katana for modern swordsmen The Dragonfly Katana from Cold Steel® was developed for sword enthusiasts who are looking for a more robust and contemporary interpretation of classic Japanese katanas. Tachi Katana, Cold Steel
Tachi Katana, Cold Steel

Tachi Katana by Cold Steel® - A masterpiece of the Samurai tradition The Tachi Katana from Cold Steel is an impressive reconstruction of a sword type that is deeply rooted in Japanese history. Originally, the tachi was the favoured sword of the samurai long before the katana came into being. It was lighter, more curved and designed for one-handed use - ideal for mounted combat. After the first Mongol invasion of Japan, the katana evolved from the tachi. However, in later centuries, Japan returned to the old virtues and forms of the samurai warriors before the 14th century. This gave rise to a special form of katana with classic tachi fittings, as seen on the tsuba, fuchi, kashira and saya. The Cold Steel Tachi Katana epitomises this traditional combination: it is not only a functional sword, but also a collector's item with high artistic value. The forged, folded Damascus blade and the gold-plated fittings make this sword an eye-catcher for collectors, martial artists and lovers of historical weapons. Product details - Cold Steel® Tachi Katana Type: Katana / Tachi replica Blade material: Damascus steel, hand-forged Overall length: approx. 103 cm Blade length: approx. 76.2 cm Blade thickness: approx. 8 mm Handle length: approx. 26.7 cm Weight: approx. 1.1 kg Including lacquered saya (sheath) Cold Steel® item number: CS-SW-TACHKTNA Important note on purchase This item is only for sale to persons over the age of 18. Flower Katana, Cold Steel

Flower Katana from Cold Steel® - elegance meets Japanese sword art The Flower Katana from Cold Steel® is a tribute to Japanese culture's deep connection to nature and floral symbolism, which has served as a source of inspiration for art, design and craftsmanship for centuries. From cherry blossoms (sakura) to chrysanthemums - in Japan, floral motifs symbolise beauty, transience and harmony. The detailed design of this samurai sword perfectly reflects this aesthetic: a stylised floral decoration adorns the tsuba (crossguard) and kashira (pommel) in an elegant silver/nickel look. The blade is made of high-quality 1060 carbon steel, has a convex grind and has been refined with a differentiated heat treatment. The result is a clay-hardened hamon that not only looks good, but also guarantees outstanding cutting performance. The hardwood handle is finished with genuine ray skin (seed) and a tightly wound silk cord. Traditional Menuki elements adorn the handle design, while the included saya (sheath) is made of lacquered hardwood and complemented by traditional silver/nickel fittings. italienisches-langschwert
Italian long sword with scabbard

Italian longsword with scabbard - Sharp blade for precise blows The longsword was one of the most important weapons in medieval Europe for several centuries. From around 1350 to 1650, it proved its worth both on the battlefield and in the art of fencing. Its long, double-edged blade not only offered an impressive reach, but also the necessary leverage for powerful blows and precise thrusts. The characteristic cross shape of the hilt with its long crossguard and heavy pommel not only served to protect the hand, but could also be used strategically to disarm opponents or throw them off balance. A special technique was used against heavily armoured opponents in particular: the half-sword. This involved gripping the blade with one hand in order to guide the tip through weak points in the armour. This versatility made the longsword an indispensable weapon in the martial arts of its time. This Italian longsword is modelled on historical examples and impresses with its elegant and functional design. The sharp blade is primarily optimised for thrusts, but the cutting edges are also extremely effective. The handle is made of wood and wrapped in leather, while the crossguard is slightly curved downwards to provide additional protection. The fishtail pommel ensures optimum balance and enables precise manoeuvres. The sword is supplied with a high-quality, leather-covered wooden scabbard reinforced with steel fittings. Features: Blade material: 1060 carbon steel Total length: approx. 119.4 cm Handle length: approx. 29.2 cm Blade length: approx. 90.2 cm Weight: approx. 1273 g Includes leather-covered wooden sheath with steel fittings Note: This item is only for sale to persons of legal age. Fingerprints, moisture and dirt can damage the material in the long term, so thorough blade care is essential. The art of sword care has been perfected in Japan over centuries to keep the legendary samurai swords in top condition. Based on this traditional knowledge, combined with modern elements, Toshiro Swords has developed the Samurai 2K sword care set. Thanks to high-quality materials and a proven formula, this set is not only suitable for swords, but also ideal for knife care. The set contains all the essential components for thorough cleaning and preservation of your blade: Special cloths for removing oil residue: four cloths made from natural cellulose replace the classic nuguigami paper and offer even more effective cleaning performance. It reliably removes old oil residue, dirt and incipient rust. Cotton cloth for applying maintenance oil: The reusable cloth made from certified organic cotton comes in a matching storage box. The legendary ninja sword - a legacy of the shadow warriors The legendary ninja sword, also known as the ninjatō, is considered one of the most mysterious weapons of Japanese warriors. The ninja, masters of stealth and espionage, used weapons that could give them an advantage in dangerous missions. Samurai vs. ninja - was there really a conflict? There are many stories about the rivalry between samurai and ninja. According to legend, the ninja were masters of assassination and were considered enemies of the samurai. In reality, however, the two warrior classes were fundamentally different and rarely engaged in direct conflict. Some famous samurai, such as Hattori Hanzō, are even said to have combined both roles - samurai and ninja. Were there special ninja swords? Historical research shows that the ninja probably did not have specially developed ninja swords. Instead, they often used shorter, slightly modified samurai swords that were better suited to confined spaces. A special ninjatō, as it is known today, is more of a modern interpretation than an exact historical replica. What can buyers who want to buy a ninja sword today expect? Anyone looking to buy a ninja sword today will usually find a variant with a straight, single-edged blade. This design has become an iconic representation of the ninjatō, although it is not one hundred per cent historically proven. How much does a real ninja sword cost? The price of a ninja sword varies greatly depending on the quality and material. Entry-level models are available for little money, while hand-forged swords made of high-quality steel can cost several thousand euros. Here in our shop you can buy a ninja sword made from one continuous piece of steel(full tang) and equipped with a sharp 1045 carbon steel blade. This model offers excellent value for money and is ideal for beginners and collectors.
